What this site is, and what it is not

What it is

• An independent idea site. The idea: Human Intelligence, what people know from being alive, said in public and argued over, is the scarce input as the open web fills with model output. The full argument is the pinned thesis.
• A source desk. Analysts, executives and journalists are already saying this. We collect them, one short quote each, always linked, in r/needham, r/earnings and r/keepreddithuman, and flat on the sources page.
• A set of formulas in r/thesis, written so the idea can be argued with instead of just agreed with.
• The home of an unofficial token. $HI is a token on the HI/RDDT pair. It is not Reddit stock (NYSE: RDDT). Details on the token page.

What it is not

• Not Reddit. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Reddit Inc.
• Not Reddit stock. $HI trades on the HI/RDDT pair. It is not NYSE: RDDT and gives no claim on Reddit, its revenue, or its data.
• Not connected to anyone quoted here. Needham, CNBC, Ars Technica, TechCrunch, AdExchanger, Stocktwits, TipRanks, Benzinga, and the people who spoke to them are talking about a public company. Their words are here because they describe the idea.
• Not financial advice. Nothing here says what to do with money. It says what we think is true and links to why.
• Not a forum. The feed, the votes and the comments are static and written by us. The layout is a homage to how Reddit reads, not a copy of Reddit's branding.

How sources are handled

• Every quote is under 15 words, one per source, and links out to the original.
• Anything longer is paraphrased and labelled as such.
• Figures quoted from analyst notes are labelled as the analyst's figures, not live stats, and will go stale.
• Every source post carries a skeptic's comment asking whether it is about the token. The answer is always no.
